Blindspot ("the App") is a personal study tool designed to help users analyze LSAT practice questions, identify recurring mistakes, and improve their reasoning over time.

Your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and the choices you have regarding your information.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, authentication information provided through Supabase Authentication, and basic profile information when signing in with Google (if you choose Google Sign-In).

Profile Information

You may choose to provide a display name, study preferences, and other optional profile settings.

Study Content

Content you create within the App, including wrong answer journal entries, flashcards, decks, practice notes, reflections, tags, and categorization.

Feedback

If you submit feedback through the App, we collect the information you choose to provide.

Technical Information

To operate the service, we may collect basic authentication logs, error logs, and browser and device information necessary to provide the service.

The App does not use advertising trackers, analytics services, or artificial intelligence to analyze or process your study content.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to provide your account, authenticate your sign-in, save your study materials, synchronize your data across devices, improve the reliability and functionality of the App, and respond to support requests and feedback.

We do not sell, rent, or use your journal entries to train AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

Blindspot relies on the following third-party services:

Supabase

Supabase provides user authentication, secure database hosting, and data storage.

Google Sign-In (Optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides authentication and limited profile information necessary to create your account.

Google Fonts

The website uses Google Fonts for typography.

Ko-fi

The website may include a voluntary donation link to Ko-fi. Donations are processed entirely by Ko-fi under its own privacy practices.

5. Data Storage

Your study information is stored securely using Supabase. Access to your information is protected through authentication and Row Level Security, ensuring users can access only their own data.

6. Demo Mode

If you use the App without signing in (Demo Mode), your activity is stored only in your browser for the duration of the session and is not uploaded to the database.

7. Imports

If you import CSV or JSON files, the imported information is used only to create or update your own study materials. You are responsible for ensuring imported content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

The App uses browser storage and authentication cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in, save temporary preferences, and operate the application securely. These technologies are not used for advertising.

9. Your Rights

10. Data Retention

Your information is retained while your account remains active. If you delete your account, your personal information and study content are deleted in accordance with the App's deletion process, except where retention is required for legal or security purposes.

11. Children's Privacy

Blindspot is intended for individuals aged 13 and older and is not directed toward young children.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
